Is Massis Kabob a Franchise?

While Massis Kabob has six locations soon to be seven locations it's not a franchise. All of the Massis Kabob locations are owned and operated by the same family that has always operated them.  From our first mall location in the Glendale Galleria which opened in 1976 to the up-and-coming seventh location which will be the first non-mall based store in Glendale, CA. Massis Kabob has always been family-owned and always operated under founder's rules.

The founder of Massis Kabob, Hacop Baghdassarian treated his stores like another family member who wanted his guests to experience a great meal each time they visited no matter which location they went to. To make that possible each store has managers and crew members that have worked at Massis Kabob for many years and some even for decades. Those familiar faces are comforting but they also keep the quality standards of the original location. 

We use local suppliers for all of our food and produce and are truly locally owned. So while we have nice logos and uniforms and we keep each store looking fresh we operate the same as we did when we first opened.
